Here's a new one in the New Age Techno World Music vein. Maybe it could be useful for something. Every time I do something like this I think, "Nobody is EVER going to need something like this...." Then one, day I'll get an e-mail from someone who says....you know that piece you did was perfect for my project! "  So, it goes to show, who am I to know???

Here is a new one about 2:43 in the mid-tempo acoustic guitar section. Another non-descript background track. The next version will have some foreground melody going on to make it, well, more descript!

Here's the first of many longer pieces I hope to be uploading. As promised a longer smooth jazz piece.

Smooth Sailing (Full Track)  5:36

This will go into the Jazz Section. I have enough Jazz pieces now that all the jazz stuff will go in it's own section.
Right now they're bunking with the Rock and the Acoustic stuff. It's time they move out and get their own place.

Here's a smooth jazz tune. I'm going to go back and put some guitar work on this, but this is the bed.

SMOOTH SAILING

Here's a basic Boogie Woogie Bed that's more for background music. Less foreground action going on:

BOOGIE WOOGIE BED

Now when you speed up Boogie Woogie to about 223 bpm, add some passing chords, and some horns
you end up with something like 30's 40's swing music.

Okay, The "Jason Shaw Trio" is back with this Barrel House Boogie Woogie Romp.  I just finished this 10 minutes ago. Maybe somebody will need something like this someday?

Here's a two for one day!  The first one will go in the Rock/Pop Section under "Off the Charts". This is a retro rock feel similar to the current chart hit by Foster the People called, "Pumped Up Kicks". It's a cool song, you can dance to it. I'd give it a 10.

KICKED UP PUMPS

The second one is my attempt at Bebop Jazz. I'm not really a jazz player but I was fooling around with this progression and slapped some bass on it, along with some looped drums...hey not bad for a first attempt.
Hey, whadaya want fer FREE????  :)

OKEY DOKEY SMOKEY

Sunday, October 2, 2011

I started this at 5am this morning. It's now 12:30 and I haven't moved out of this chair once! It hasn't seemed like 7 hours. They say that's how you know you've found your "bliss"-  when time seems to fly or stand still.

A subscriber named Bill wanted some more solo acoustic guitar pieces. Here's the first of many.
I'm also working on some longer pieces to use as music on hold. Yanni anyone?
